Kayak Instruction on the Delaware River, Frenchtown N.J.

The fastest and most effective self-rescue technique in a kayak is the 'eskimo roll'. This technique is also one of the more difficult kayaking skills to learn. A 2-hour kayak rolling session with an instructor can give you the basic mechanics and procedures necessary to begin building and fine-tuning your roll, whether you are in a touring kayak or want to build this skill to push your whitewater kayaking enjoyment and safety further. Though we can't guarantee that you will be able to develop a roll in this short 2-hour session, you will gain the knowledge to begin your own practice sessions toward the long-term goal of that 'bomb-proof' roll. These sessions are taught only with decked, sit-in kayaks with keyhole-type cockpits. Session size is limited to 2 students.

$50.00/person Kayak, Paddle and Accessories provided if necessary for an additional fee.
