Activity Information

This trip is a Kayak or Canoe float trip on the Neuse River Canoe Trail and is recommended for all level of paddlers including beginners. The trip will last approximately 1.5 hours. The trip begins at the canoe launch located off of Falls of Neuse Road and ends at our private take out at Capital Blvd. The Trip is a very leisurely float that allows you time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Please arrive at the shop prior ONE HALF HOUR priort to your trip time to settle balances and sign liability waiver. It is very important that you arrive on time. If you are late your reservation may be cancelled or rebooked. Paddle Creek NC provides all necessary paddles, lifevests, and transportation from the Capital Blvd shop to the Falls of Neuse put-in and the Capital Blvd take-out, back to the Capital Blvd. shop. For more information call the shop at 919-866-1954 Clothing; clothes that can get wet and dirty, comfortable shoes that can get wet and drain water. NO FLIPLOPS OR SANDLES WITHOUT BACKS. We suggest that you bring insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc. NO CHILDREN who require car seats or boosters will be able to be transported in the vans provided by Paddle Creek NC. These Participants will be required to provide there own transportation to and from drop off points. Please call if this applies to your reservation. RATE: $58 PER Canoe or tandem Kayak (canoes are usually shared by 2 people however can be shared by up to 3 people)* RATE: $48 PER KAYAK (single only)* *A $3 per person fuel surcharge is also added

Thank You for choosing Paddle Creek NC! Meet at the Paddle Creek shop at 10012B CAPITAL BLVD WAKE FOREST. PLEASE ARRIVE THIRTY MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE OF YOUR TRIP! If you are not here on time, we will leave without you. We require full payment at the time of the booking. We reserve the right to change the time of your trip. We reserve the right to give the customer any combination of canoe or kayak if he or she fails to specify the kind of boats he or she wants on the trip. We reserve the right to check any cooler and/or container that may possibly contain illegal drugs and/or alcoholic beverages that will accompany any customers on our river trips. For Rate Structure See Trip Details. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your trip more than 10 days in advance of the date reserved, you will be entitled to a 100% refund. If you cancel less than 10 days prior your deposit and any FULL PAYMENT taken is nonrefundable, however it can be used for another trip. In the case of a forefeited deposit , rescheduled trips must be made in person or over the phone. Paddle Ceek reserves the right to cancel trips at anytime due to weather, water conditions, or unseen events. If your trip is cancelled due to weather or other unseen events, Paddle Creek NC will make every attempt to rebook your trip or refund your deposit. The Neuse River water level is controlled in part by the release of water at the Falls Dam. Current water release levels can be checked on our website under the "River Flow" tab. River Trip Participants are required to listen to all safety and put in take out instructions. Participants are required to be at scheduled drop off and pick ups and may be responsible for extra charges incurred for missed take outs. Depending on size of groups, participants may also be asked to assist in loading and unloading boats. NO CHILDREN who require car seats or boosters will be able to be transported in the vans provided by Paddle Creek NC. These Participants will be required to provide their own transportation to and from drop off points. Please call if this applies to your reservation. Due to recent cancellations and limited numbers of reservation spots, any group larger than 8 participants must provide payment in full 72 hours prior to scheduled event date. Payment may be made over the phone via credit card or in person. Paddle Creek reserves the right to cancel for any reason which may include weather, disasters, unforeseen events, or unsafe conditions. Participants will be refunded or rescheduled. Groups are not entitled to refund if cancelled within 72 hours of trip. Paddle Creek will make attempts to rebook, however will not refund.
